Sony has released the PlayStation 4 1.71 update today, and the file comes in around 200 MB in size. The update does not have any new features, and the direct quote from the details page states “System software stability during use of some features has been improved.” With the last few weeks of the PlayStation 4 services such as the friends list, messaging, Share Factory, and party chat being very unreliable, this update should fix all those issues.Â
