The NBA has a marquee game tonight with the Los Angeles Clippers going against the Miami Heat in the Staples Center starting at 7:30 P.M PST. This will be the second time these two teams meet this season after the Heat previously beat the clippers with a score of 102-97. Tonight can also be a preview of the NBA finals for this year, as both teams are top dogs in both of their divisions.
The Clippers are coming into this game missing Chris Paul yet again after a shoulder injury he suffered late of December last year. Blake Griffin, the second in command for the Clippers has been displaying his leadership and his ability to work the post since Chris Paul has been missing in action, and silencing all of the speculation and rumors of himself being trade for Carmelo Anthony.
The Miami Heat on the other hand, start their tough six game road trip with the Los Angeles Clippers. They will also see some of the tougher western opponents as their trip includes the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, and the Phoenix Suns. The Miami Heat team is hoping to gain a little momentum before the All-Star Break to catch up with the new eastern powerhouse Indiana Pacers, who just acquired Andrew Bynum.
