UPDATE: LeBron James is now confirmed to have a broken nose and will be a game time decision on Sunday against the Bulls on Sunday. The injury comes at a bad time as the Miami Heat are looking to finish the year strong and gain home court advantage for the playoffs.
The injury may not be a severe one, but it is sure to make the Miami Heat organization and fans uneasy seeing their number one player and the best player in the NBA going down. It will be interesting to see how Erik Spoelstra plans to play without LeBron James if they decide to sit him out the next game, and how he will plan to play with out him if another injury does happen to render LeBron James unable to play.
LeBron James who had 33 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists, had to leave the game early after taking a shot on the nose by Serge Ibaka to the nose. The contact came during a LeBron James drive to the rim which lead to a prolific slam and Lebron James laying on the ground dazed form the blow the face.
The potential MVP player had blood pouring from his nose he attempted to get off the floor and had to be helped off the court by Chris Bosh and Ray Allen. No information has been given yet as to the extent of LeBron James’ injury, but I will update with any information that is released.
